Where is the rollout switch on a Raypak pool heater?
Sounds odd that you turn it on and the switch is open. The rollout switch connects inside the cabinet right behind where the gas pipe comes into the gas valve. I have seen a few cases where the installer moved the rollout switch so they could install the gas pipe and they failed to put it back in place.

I have a Raypak 156 heater on my spa powered by propane. I replaced the rollout switch, but it opened again after a few uses, suggesting the switch was doing its job properly. Do you need to replace the roll out sensor on a Raypak pool?
If you have spiders in the equipment area, its probably the latter. Switch is a one time use and needs to be replaced AND THE PROBLEM FIXED! Dont just replace the roll out sensor and expect it to work for long. Dont pay more than about 15 dollars for it either.
